Year 1

Hello! I am Mrs Taylor. I am a Year 1 teacher and I lead Phonics & Early Reading as well. I am passionate about helping teach children to read and instilling a lifelong love of books. We have lots of fun and engaging topics this year, and we are really looking forward to sharing these with the children! In my spare time I like drinking big cups of tea and dreaming about Christmas!

Hello! I am Mrs Allen. I am so lucky to be working in Year 1 and can’t wait to see your children settle and get stuck into the exciting and engaging topics of Year 1. Together, with Mrs Taylor and our lovely support staff, we will have lots of fun on our Year 1 journey. In my spare time I also like drinking big cups of tea and walking my dog Arlo.

Hello. I'm Mrs Collins. I'm really looking forward to working in Year 1 this year and to help them transition from EYFS. I'm passionate about children's wellbeing, always encouraging them to try new things and explaining that making mistakes is an important part of learning. I'm excited to watch our Year 1's grow over the year.
