Year 4

Hello, I am Miss Howe. I am really thrilled to be teaching in Year 4 this year and to be taking you along on our exciting journey. I am passionate about science, history and creating an engaging creative curriculum. My aim is to develop curious, confident lifelong learners with a passion for learning new things.

I am Mrs Rainford and I am excited to be teaching Maple class with Miss Howe this year. You will see me on a Thursday and Friday and Miss Howe on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I am passionate about developing kind curiosity in the people and places around us, valuing our school and wider community and fostering a love of learning that will keep us happy and productive throughout our lives.

Hello! I’m Miss Hammond, and I’m thrilled to be teaching Year 4 this year. It’s a real privilege to continue working with many of the same wonderful children and to welcome new faces into our classroom. I’m passionate about creating a supportive, engaging environment where curiosity thrives and every student feels confident to share their ideas and grow.
While I love teaching all subjects, Music holds a special place in my heart - I enjoy singing, dancing, and acting, and I’m excited to continue leading our popular singing club after its great success last year. Watching children grow into independent, confident young people is one of the most rewarding parts of my job, and I can’t wait to see what this year holds for us. Let’s make it another amazing one, Year 4!
